Meet the Staff

With diverse, multi-disciplinary backgrounds, our staff is among the most respected and versatile in their field. Whatever the electrical need, they will use their experience to create an innovative and user-friendly solution.

We highly encourage our staff to continue to strengthen their knowledge & skills by participating in programs that are pertinent to their occupation whenever possible. This involves participation and enrollment in Seminars & Courses for such topics as Software, Accounting, Customer Service & Electrical Code Compliance.

Superintendents –

Mr. Angel Medina
Angel is a licensed journeyman electrician with 30 years of experience in the electrical industry. He has acquired this experience in both commercial & residential applications. Angel’s knowledge & hands on skills make him the perfect individual for supervising any size project. Angel has been employed with Calvin’s Electric, Ltd since February of 2007.

Jay Limas, Chris Mares & Aubrey Hammett
Our superintendents oversee many aspects of our project work including: development and execution of multiple projects through estimating/bidding, red-lining of plans, purchase order procurement, scheduling, supervising sub contractors and job sites, insuring job site safety, assigning pay, distribution of billing,and daily interaction with builders in the field.

Administrative Staff –

Ms. Joyce Bailey – Scheduling Coordinator
Joyce has an impressive history of Business experience through a wide variety of endeavors over the last 25+ years. She gained much of her business knowledge as an independent small business owner & employer. From data entry to maintaining a successful business, she not only gained a full range of expertise in office & clerical practices, but also developed a great skill set for customer service. Joyce plays a vital role in our daily operations and is the primary contact for all customers, vendors & suppliers. Joyce has been employed with Calvin’s Electric, Ltd since May of 2005.

Duties include, but are not limited to: providing customer service, scheduling of warranties & service,  invoicing, pulling permits, PO procurement, AP/AR, maintaining & keeping records up to date for taxing authorities, insurance & contracts, and many other office related communication & compliance issues.

Joe Gartner – Purchasing Agent 
Joe has been involved in purchasing & inventory management for over 25 years. Joe has been our purchasing agent since 2007 and manages our warehouse.  He assists in technical / computer related issues and maintains our software applications and computer hardware.  Joe also holds an Apprentice Electrician License.

Jill Curtis – Estimator
Jill’s original occupation was a chemist working for the LCRA, but was convinced to join our team in 2004.  She has occupied many positions through the years:  A/R, A/P, lighting division manager for four years, and has been our Estimator since January 2016.  Jill also holds and Apprentice Electrician License.
